If people would just remember that all we need is love there would be no debate on this topic.
Everyone is Welcome
I don’t think this requires much of a caption. This is how I feel about the Tea Party and people like Ron Paul. The private sector is motivated by money not protecting people or the environment. For those who say oh it’s not in their interest to get bad press or hurt people, money speaks pretty loud and average man will suffer.
This is Victoria Woodhull. She was born in 1883 and lived in Homer, Ohio. She was the first woman to run for President in 1872.
Although Wikipedia is not always the best source, I like how they summarized her.
“Woodhull became a colorful and notorious symbol for women’s rights, free love, and spiritualism as she fought against corruption and for labor reforms…Many of the reforms and ideals she espoused for the common working class against what she saw as the corrupt capitalist elite were extremely controversial in her time, though generations later many of them have been implemented and are now taken for granted. Other ideas and reforms are still debated today.”
She was pretty fabulous.
Check her out.
Out there things can happen And when things start to happen, OH! You’ll be on your way up! You won’t lag behind, because you’ll have the speed.
and frequently do
to people as brainy
and footsy as you.
don’t worry. Don’t stew.
Just go right along.
You’ll start happening too.
THE PLACES YOU’LL GO!
You’ll be seeing great sights!
You’ll join the high fliers
who soar to high heights.
You’ll pass the whole gang and you’ll soon take the lead.
Wherever you fly, you’ll be the best of the best.
Wherever you go, you will top all the rest.
— Dr. Seuss, “Oh the Places You’ll Go”
Hello World,
Sometimes in life you have thoughts, ideas or experiences that make you so excited or passionate you want to put it out in the universe no matter if anyone listens or cares. Thats what this blog is for me. I will focus on whatever interests me, a lot will be politics, but anything is possible.
I love the messaging, strategy, personal predictions, images and ramifications of politicians that are both already in office and running. I will attempt to be funny and not offensive. But my bar for funny is what makes me laugh. Both sides of the aisle are vulnerable, but I was raised in a Democratic household in a middle-class neighborhood in the Midwest. Therefore, I’m gonna be very left on most issues, inquisitive for some and honestly won’t have an opinion about others.
Overall this blog will be a collection of thoughts, quotes and pictures.
If nothing, I hope to use this space as a way to put something out in the world.
